First phase of system monitoring setup for checking IT infrastructure in Benicassim town council has finished successfully.

Fully based on Boreal, ie in free software, and thus in line with European Community advices about nature of software used in public institutions, citizens from this turistic town in Castellón count on a tool that assures a deep IT system supervision in their council, improving the offered quality of service.

First phase has covered all the virtualization platform, based on VMWare VSphere, and related network and storage systems, monitoring availability, efficiency and performance issues.

Boreal, a monitoring appliance based on Nagios, Centreon and TComm self developments, have been deployed on the own virtualization platform, increasing the availability and performance levels and minimizing energy related issues.

We're very proud of having performed this project, that will finish with the learning phase, and we hope keeping on collaborating with Benicassim town council in future projects.
